Niagara Boat Tours

Boat tours are popular in Niagara Falls, and everyone must go on one at least once. Multiple boat companies have taken guests to the base of the falls for many years. The base of the falls is a must-see as it offers a beautiful scenic view. Visitors can tour around in boats that depart every 15 minutes or so. This attraction is safe and attempts to bring passengers to proximity to the bottom of the waterfalls. Although the ride is intense, it is not scary. If your kids are okay with a bit of a bumpy ride, take advantage of the once-in-a-lifetime experience. Remember, it does get wet at the base of the falls. While ponchos or rain jackets are supplied, you might also want to bring a change of clothes and shoes.

Helicopter Rides

What better way to experience Niagara Falls than from up above. A ride in a helicopter is an exciting and enjoyable experience kids will love. There is no age minimum to hop on one, and best of all, up to six family members can fit per ride. If you plan on taking turns with your family, keep in mind each flight is about 12 minutes.

Niagara Butterfly Conservatory

If you love the outdoors, you will fall in love with Niagara’s Butterfly Conservatory. The self-guided tour leads to thousands of creatures with more than 2,000 butterflies flying around the enclosed ecosystem. The conservatory also offers opportunities for educational aspects with informed knowledge about all the creatures you will see. You will want to watch yourself, as the butterflies also like to rest, and sometimes they do so on the walkways. Families can spend hours in the conservatory admiring everything around them. Although trapping the butterflies is highly discouraged, you can still invite them to land on your hand. Simply hold your finger out and invite one to rest for a little while.
