Niagara Falls School of Horticulture

Gwen Van KleefPlaces to Visit, Things to do

Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens and School of Horticulture is both a school and a public botanical garden. It is maintained by dedicated staff and students with the objective to educate, cultivate, and preserve ornamental plants. The School of Horticulture students are responsible for keeping up the Niagara Botanical Gardens year-round. It has been open since 1936 with  European-style gardens with 99 acres of trees, roses, herbs & vegetables.

If you want a lovely walk and learn a little about flowers, trees and plants, this is the place to go. EVERYTHING, I mean, EVERYTHING is labelled. No more, “I wonder what kind of flower (tree, plant) this is?” It’s a beautiful walk and you’ll thoroughly enjoy it.

It is located at 2565 Niagara Parkway in Niagara Falls.  Here is the website: https://www.niagaraparks.com/visit/nature-garden/botanical-gardens-2/
